Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS)

Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) provides emergency shelter and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Phoenix area. Founded in 1984, CASS operates shelters for single adults, older adults, and families with children, with a focus on safety, dignity, and pathways toward housing stability.

At its central Phoenix location on South 12th Avenue, CASS offers low-barrier shelter alongside essential services such as showers, hygiene supplies, meals, case management, and housing navigation. Its family-focused Vista Colina shelter provides parents and children with services including a food pantry, clothing closet, family-centered case management, and housing support.
