Abode is dedicated to ending homelessness by helping low-income, unhoused individuals—including those with special needs—secure stable, supportive housing. Founded in Alameda County in 1988, Abode began as a community-driven response to a growing homelessness crisis in the Tri-City Area and has since expanded to serve the greater Bay Area, including Santa Clara, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties.

Our mission centers on the proven principle that housing combined with supportive services is the most effective solution to homelessness. Through innovative programs and partnerships, Abode provides critical services such as housing placement, case management, and advocacy that empower vulnerable children and adults to regain stability and build independent lives.
