Description

Located in Little River, the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC) works to help end veteran homelessness through housing, reintegration support, and connections to community resources. Its housing programs are designed to provide safe, stable places where veterans can begin rebuilding their lives.

VWHRC’s housing efforts include the Hutton House and the Rotary House, while its reintegration program helps veterans adjust after hardships related to military service. The program offers opportunities for peer connection, counseling, education and training, and progress toward meaningful employment.

The Resource Center also connects veterans with benefits and other services, including assistance with disability paperwork and education. Veterans seeking additional homeless assistance in South Carolina can review NHREA’s state resource guide, along with its federal assistance resources. Visit VWHRC’s official website to confirm current program details.
