Open Doors Homeless Coalition

Open Doors Homeless Coalition is a collaborative initiative in South Mississippi focused on developing solutions to homelessness through improved service delivery, community outreach, and advocacy. Its work connects local agencies and community partners through the MS-503 Continuum of Care, a regional planning process that coordinates responses to homelessness.

Through its Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing program, Open Doors describes support that may include deposits, rental assistance, case management, and connections to community services for people experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis. Coordinated Entry serves as the access point to housing opportunities and services through the Continuum of Care.

Open Doors also serves as the Homeless Management Information System lead for Harrison, Jackson, Hancock, Stone, George, and Pearl River counties, supporting shared documentation and coordination among participating agencies.
