The Kansas State Homeless Coalition, Inc. (KSHC) is a not-for-profit organization based in Lawrence that coordinates with communities across Kansas to support efforts to end homelessness. Its work includes advocacy, training, education, and remote services for areas with limited resources.
KSHC also works with the Kansas Balance of State Continuum of Care across 101 Kansas counties, excluding Johnson, Sedgwick, Shawnee, and Wyandotte counties. The coalition’s stated vision is to help advance safe, appropriate, and affordable housing in collaboration with local, state, and national partners.
Its official resources include public housing, health and government information, crisis-line contacts, and legal-advocacy education through a webinar partnership with Kansas Legal Services. Visit the official KSHC website for organizational resources, and see NHREA’s Kansas homelessness assistance resources and federal assistance resources for related information.
