Shelter the Homeless is a nonprofit organization with a bold mission: to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. We achieve this by combining emergency shelter with targeted case management and transformative interventions that help individuals resolve immediate crises and return quickly to stable housing.

Our Board of Directors brings together public and private sector leaders committed to supporting data-driven, compassionate, and effective solutions. We operate in close coordination with the region’s homeless resource centers, which serve as gateways for emergency shelter, housing assistance, and essential services.
