Regional Task Force on Homelessness — San Diego’s Comprehensive Plan to End Homelessness
The Regional Task Force on Homelessness has launched the first-ever Regional Community Action Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness in the San Diego region. This groundbreaking “Regional Plan” centers on a housing-focused, equity-driven, and person-centered system of care designed to tackle homelessness within five years. By identifying gaps in systems and resources and promoting evidence-based strategies, this comprehensive plan aligns federal, state, and local efforts into one cohesive roadmap. Known as the “Plan of Plans,” it aims to streamline services and create practical, impactful solutions to help individuals and families regain safe, stable housing, improve health outcomes, and restore community connections throughout San Diego County.
