Changing the Faces of Homelessness is dedicated to helping families and individuals in Los Angeles County find affordable, permanent housing. We believe that every person deserves a decent place to call home, yet many face barriers such as poverty, unemployment, disability, and lack of opportunity that prevent them from achieving housing stability.

Our organization was inspired to act following the tragic loss of Actor Gary Perez-Hayes, who struggled with addiction and homelessness. In response, Changing the Faces of Homelessness developed a comprehensive permanent supportive housing program designed to assist vulnerable populations in Los Angeles. Our program focuses on providing long-term housing solutions alongside support services to foster independence and improve quality of life.
