Founders Metropolitan Community Church — HopeNet Food Pantry

Founders Metropolitan Community Church offers free groceries through its HopeNet food pantry in Los Angeles, California. The pantry welcomes people who need food, including families, seniors and people experiencing homelessness. Food assistance is available regardless of religious affiliation or background; church membership is not required.

You do not need identification or payment to receive food. Pantry volunteers may ask for your household size and ZIP code. The HopeNet network supplies groceries through neighborhood pantries, with food choices depending on available supplies. Its food purchases emphasize options such as produce, whole grains, dairy and lean proteins, rather than a fixed bag of items guaranteed at every pickup.

Contact the Founders MCC pantry before your first visit to confirm the Saturday pickup time and entrance. Published schedules disagree about the starting time, so check directly before traveling. The church’s worship schedule and HopeNet’s central office hours are not additional grocery-pickup times.
