Description

The Emmaus Homeless Shelter, part of H.O.M.E. Inc., has been a vital resource for individuals and families in need since opening its doors on February 25, 1992. Located in Maine, the shelter is a 25-bed facility that can accommodate four families, six single women, and five single men, ages 18 and older.
The Emmaus Shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that those experiencing homelessness have access to safe housing, meals, and supportive services every day. With a commitment to dignity and compassion, Emmaus provides not just emergency shelter, but also a foundation for stability, healing, and long-term independence.
By working in partnership with H.O.M.E. Inc. and other community organizations, the Emmaus Homeless Shelter continues to be a lifeline for vulnerable neighbors, offering hope, resources, and a pathway to permanent housing.
