Front Steps

Front Steps, based in Austin, Texas, works to create a pathway from homelessness to safe, affordable long-term housing. Its services include shelter, affordable housing, supportive housing for chronically homeless individuals, and community education. Front Steps also coordinates with other community homeless-service providers to connect people with transitional and permanent housing options.

Through Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), Front Steps offers short-term rapid-rehousing assistance and intensive case management for very low-income veteran families.
