Description

Homeless Services Network of Central Florida works to connect people experiencing homelessness with stable housing and services that help them remain housed and improve their lives. Its stated focus includes veterans, youth, people with disabilities, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and families with minor children.

HSN leads a community-wide effort to make homelessness rare and brief, working with outreach teams, shelters, case managers, housing advocates, health-care and job-training providers, domestic violence agencies, and human-trafficking recovery programs. Its work includes coordinating services, supporting housing efforts, recruiting landlords and property managers, and using research and data to inform policymakers.

Through its Brighter Days youth homelessness initiative, HSN connects young people with housing options and support related to education, employment, health care, and peer support. People seeking assistance can also review NHREA’s Florida homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit HSN’s official website to confirm current program details.
