Joseph & Mary’s Home – Northeast Ohio’s First Medical Respite for Adults Experiencing Homelessness
Joseph & Mary’s Home is Northeast Ohio’s first and only medical respite, providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment for adults experiencing homelessness who need a place to recover from illness, injury, or medical procedures. Our mission is to offer healing, stability, and connection to vital community resources, helping each individual take the next steps toward health, housing, and independence.
At Joseph & Mary’s Home, residents receive compassionate care and guidance in a nurturing environment designed to support physical recovery and emotional well-being. In addition to providing a safe place to recuperate, we connect individuals to housing assistance, social services, and healthcare resources, ensuring they have the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
Our facility is strategically located to serve the Northeast Ohio community and, as of September 2025, our new mailing address is 2302 Community College Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. Although the address has changed, our home remains on the same campus as our previous facility, continuing to offer the same high level of care and support.
Joseph & Mary’s Home embodies a holistic approach to homelessness and healthcare, recognizing that recovery and long-term stability go hand-in-hand. By addressing immediate medical needs while providing pathways to housing and community resources, we help adults experiencing homelessness heal, regain independence, and move forward with hope.
