The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a Washington, DC-based organization working to end homelessness in the United States through advocacy, research, and assistance to communities. Its Homelessness Research Institute translates data into practical guidance for policymakers and service providers, while its policy work focuses on supporting vulnerable people and addressing homelessness through local, state, and federal policies.
The Alliance also provides training and capacity-building resources for communities and service providers. Its Rapid Re-Housing Toolkit offers guidance for designing or improving programs using core rapid re-housing components. Resources on unsheltered homelessness address housing-focused street outreach, pathways to permanent housing, and ways to meet immediate needs while longer-term options expand.
