Description

Based in Mandeville, the Northlake Homeless Coalition is a network of public and private service providers working across Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parishes. As the region’s HUD-designated Continuum of Care, the coalition coordinates local planning to address homelessness and connect community partners.

NHC works to help individuals and families access housing, remain in safe housing, and connect with supports that promote long-term stability. Its housing solutions information describes approaches including Housing First, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. The coalition also maintains a community strategic plan focused on preventing, reducing, and ultimately ending homelessness in Southeast Louisiana.

For additional information, review NHREA’s Louisiana homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit the official Northlake Homeless Coalition website to confirm current program details.
