REST: Real Escape from the Sex Trade is a Seattle-based nonprofit supporting survivors of sex trafficking through pathways toward safety, hope, healing, and freedom. Founded in 2009, REST uses survivor-centered, trauma-informed, relationship-based, strengths-based, and holistic approaches that respect each person’s choices and goals.

REST’s services support survivors across different stages of healing, from outreach and crisis support to stabilization, housing assistance, and longer-term steps toward independence. Programs include community advocacy, emergency shelter for adult women, mental health and substance use support, and connections to additional community resources.
