Transitional Living Center

Transitional Living Center (TLC) provides safety, stability, and hope to women and children in crisis through a transitional home and compassionate support focused on self-directed life skills. Based in Kansasville, TLC has worked to address homelessness since 1993.

TLC collaborates with local agencies to connect participants with individualized support. Case management may include employment search, life-skills development, AODA counseling, mental-health referrals, medication management, financial mentoring, and parenting support. Staff also help participants develop budgets, manage expenses, increase earned income, and explore ways to save.

Support can continue after a participant leaves the shelter through referrals, continuity of care, and assistance with maintaining progress.
