Over 120 Years of Service and Transformation
Founded more than a century ago, UGMTC opened its doors to feed, shelter, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Saint Paul’s dock workers, laborers, and lumberjacks. Over the decades, our programs have evolved to meet the changing needs of men, women, and children facing homelessness, hunger, and addiction. Comprehensive Support for Lasting Change
Today, UGMTC’s emergency shelter offers immediate relief with food, safe shelter, and vital care, including mental health services. After meeting these immediate needs, our compassionate staff walk alongside residents for up to two years, providing holistic support through:
Bible study and faith formation
Licensed therapists offering mental health care
Adult education programs
Mentorship and life skills training
Job-skills development and employment preparation
Financial literacy instruction
These combined services equip our guests with the tools to build new lives and thrive within the community.
