Description

Wayside Christian Mission is a faith-based Louisville organization serving people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerabilities. Its work includes shelter, meals, case management, and support intended to help people move toward greater stability. The mission describes serving men, women, children, and veterans, including people who may face barriers to traditional shelter.

Its Low Barrier Shelter offers access to safety and basic needs, including showers, social-work and peer-support services, and connections to case management. Wayside also describes a Sober Living Program supporting recovery from alcohol and other drugs through structured living, 12-step meetings, work therapy, life-skills education, and recovery planning. The program’s materials state that individuals, couples, and families are welcome.

For broader help, see NHREA’s Kentucky homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit Wayside Christian Mission’s official website to confirm current program details and connection options.
