Description

Youth Continuum provides prevention, crisis response, housing, and support services for young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Its programs combine housing options with case management, counseling, advocacy, and practical help with basic needs, education, employment, life skills, emotional health, and navigating state and health-care systems.

Housing services include transitional and independent-living programs, housing assistance, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. Emergency programs include temporary crisis housing for young adults and an overnight shelter program for minors who are runaway, unstably housed, or fleeing dangerous situations. Program requirements and referral pathways vary; review the official Youth Continuum services information for details.

Youth Continuum states that its services are free and confidential. Additional information is available through NHREA’s Connecticut homeless assistance resources and federal assistance resources. Visit the official website to confirm current program details.
