The National HIV/AIDS Housing Coalition (NHAHC) advocates for housing, policies, and resources that advance the health of people living with HIV. Its work is grounded in the connection between safe, appropriate, affordable housing and improved health outcomes, including progress toward ending the HIV epidemic.
NHAHC focuses on policy and resource advocacy, research translation and dissemination, and convening leaders at local, national, and international levels. Its priorities include addressing poverty, stigma, housing instability, and homelessness while promoting housing as a foundation for health equity. Learn more through the official NHAHC overview.
NHAHC also provides HIV and housing resources, including information to help audiences understand the importance of protecting and expanding HOPWA and other affordable housing programs. Readers seeking broader federal housing assistance information can visit NHREA’s federal assistance resource. Visit the official website to confirm current programs and resources.
